Why One Should Be A Vegetarian – Some Statistics

I am a vegetarian by choice and would continue to be one to the end of my days because I strongly believe that the modern diet that relies heavily on meat and animal products is wasteful of the earth’s resources. A lot of people in defence of meat eating say that ‘All available evidence indicates that the NATURAL human diet is Omnivorous and would include meat.” The proof given for this claim is the fact that archaeological records, as far back as they can be traced, indicate an omnivorous diet for humans that included meat.
