In scientific studies, there are some inconsistencies associating meat consumption with the development of coronary heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. However, make no mistake about processed meats – there is clear evidence that eating processed meat in your diet is linked to coronary heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

With obesity becoming a major health issue for people everywhere, the problem of childhood obesity is also gaining more attention – our children are getting fatter and less fit than before. Survey has found that from the early 1980′s up to the late 2000′s, children are fatter, heavier, and weaker, where 17% of all children are overweight. In response to my post titled Is Human Design Indeed a Vegetarian Design, one dear reader had referred to an article by Dr. McArdle who is an anatomist, a primatologist and more importantly a vegetarian.
In the conclusion of that article Dr. McArdle had stated, “Humans are classic examples of omnivores in all relevant anatomical traits. There is no basis in anatomy or physiology for the assumption that humans are pre-adapted to the vegetarian diet. For that reason, the best arguments in support of a meat-free diet remain ecological, ethical, and health concerns.”
In the above
